The Art Our doctor masters the adjusting “art” of chiropractic which includes a comprehensive evaluation, a review of health history, and arrival at a clear diagnosis and a recommended specific treatment plan customized for each patient. This includes specific spinal adjustments. Adjustment describes many hundreds of ways and techniques of directed and controlled pressure to restore spinal segments to a more normal position and range of motion, aiding in increased flexibility, increased immunological function and increased life energy. Chiropractic is truly an art.
Exercise Regularly— This does not have to be anything overly strenuous. Something as simple as a daily walk can make a huge difference.
Eat a Healthy Diet— Proper nutrients allow the body to repair itself more easily
Maintain Good Posture— Are you sitting up straight as you read this?
Stretch Your Spine Before and After Sports— This will also help to loosen up the surrounding muscles.
Don't Overload Your Backpack Or Purse— Remember to carry it over both shoulders to balance the load (if possible).
Stretch Your Legs and Back after Each Hour of Sitting— Whether in a car or at a desk, stretching regularly will help to keep you from tightening up or injuring yourself further.
Never Cradle the Phone Between Your Neck and Shoulder
Sleep on Your back Or Side, Not on Your Stomach— This helps to keep your spine in line and reduces the risk of hurting your neck while you sleep.
Invest in a Good Chair, Pillow and Mattress— When you think about the amount of time you use these things each day, it's worth it. Have Regular Spinal Check-Ups— It's much easier to prevent a problem than to correct one.

After a thorough consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete examination. This will include testing, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard chiropractic, podiatric, orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that a better understanding of how our treatment can help you. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures.
X-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for X-ray is considered on a case-by-case basis. Our equipment is state of the art for imaging.
Once all of the information has been gathered and the examinations have been performed, one of our doctors will give you a report of findings and make recommendations for treatment.
Many of our patients begin to see results from their very first visit. Our customized and effective techniques are able to restore function and movement in everyone from athletes to senior citizens, and gentle enough to be administered to children (they love us).
Chiropractic is a natural method of health care that focuses on correcting the causes of physical problems, rather than treating only the symptoms. Chiropractic is based on a simple but powerful premise: With a normally functioning spine and healthy nerve system, your body is better able to heal itself. That’s because your spine is the lifeline of your nervous system. It controls feeling, movement, and all function through your body.
Chiropractic works by restoring your body’s inborn ability to be healthy. When under the proper control of your nervous system, all the cells, tissues, and organs of your body are designed to resist disease and ill health. The chiropractic approach to better health is to locate and remove interferences (subluxations, misaligned vertebrae) to your nervous system. With improved spinal function, there is improved nervous system function. The goal of the chiropractor is to remove interference that may be impairing normal health through specific chiropractic adjustments, allowing your body to heal itself. A healthy spine and a healthy lifestyle are your keys to optimal health!
Chiropractic philosophy recognizes that the power that created the body can heal the body – as long as there is no interference. The doctor does not heal you; he or she is a co-facilitator with you for your body to be put in the correct environment to heal itself. The main purpose of the chiropractor is to reduce interference to your inborn, innate healing ability.
